Red Palm Olein - a high-quality palm olein which has been specially processed to retain the natural red colour of palm oil. This natural red colour is mainly ß-carotene, which is a Vitamin A precursor. Our red palm olein contains a minimum of 500ppm natural carotene. It is ideal for controlling the colour of fried foods and is usually blended with standard palm olein at levels of 2 to 10%.
JGQ Palm Olein - a high-quality palm olein which retains a high level of the antioxidants (tocopherols and tocotrienols, which have Vitamin E equivalence) naturally present in palm oil. JGQ palm olein is also low in iron and in colour. The result is a frying oil with a long frying life which gives products with excellent flavour and a long shelf life. JGQ palm olein is supplied by Golden Jomalina Food Industries, one of the leading palm oil refiners in Malaysia and part of the Golden Hope Plantations group.
